Final University Performance

Our final performance at university was an impressive highlight of our journey. I had the privilege of playing the doctor responsible for Woyzeck's fate in Woyzeck by Jack Thorne, which was performed alongside Cannibals by Rory Mullarkey and directed by Matti Houghton. It was an unforgettable experience to see these intense and thought-provoking stories come to life on stage.

"Dihei" - Short Film Documentary, January 2024

My journey, my "Dihei" (Home). This documentary short film is a deeply personal exploration of my experiences as an international student – the challenges, the adaptations, and the search for belonging. I wrote, directed, and produced it in January 2024, sharing a piece of my own story.

Devised Physical Performance raising awareness on Femicides, April 2022

This movement-based performance was dedicated to raising awareness about the ongoing issue of femicides in the UK. At the time, one woman was being killed by a man every 3 days.

Through physical storytelling, we wanted to confront the silence and honour the lives lost to gender-based violence. We created this movement piece collaboratively, using the body as a tool for protest, memory, and solidarity.

Devising this piece taught me the power of performance as a form of resistance and raising awareness. This was one of my first experiences with devising work rooted in social justice; and will always be a reminder of the stories that must be told, even when they are hard to hear

"Monsterbash" - Short Film

So excited about "Monsterbash," the latest short film I was part of, directed by the fantastic Gabbi Opperman! This is a dark comedy about a wild Halloween Party where nothing is quite as it seems. Coming soon from post-production!

"Mirror Performance" - A Devised Interactive Piece, April 2024

A collaborative, interactive piece exploring identity, self-image, and perception.

Through a series of mirror installations, the audience was invited to confront their own reflections and write down what they saw. Their written reflections on identity and self-perception became the script for our performance.

We read their words back to them while projecting their live reactions projected onto a large screen — in real time — as their private reflections became part of a shared performance.

The result was a layered portrait of vulnerability, confrontation, and what happens when we become the ones being looked at.

"In My Words" - Short Film 2023

​"In My Words" (2023) is a moving short film written by Sydney Lane-Ryer and directed by Andrew Burrell. I played Bethany, a 14-year-old girl coming to terms with a terminal cancer diagnosis. As she prepares to say goodbye, Bethany pours her heart into one final letter to her mother (played by Rebekah Talbot), offering a powerful glimpse into her life, memories, and the emotions that shape her farewell.
